Let’s be real. The holidays are supposed to be a time of relaxation, community, love, bonding and celebration. But for most people, especially those interested in physical, mental and spiritual self improvement, the holidays can be a stressful time for a multitude of reasons. Families are complicated, your schedule gets disrupted, and how can you possible eat healthy and workout when you are traveling around without a proper kitchen or your normal workout gear? This holiday season is my 4th as a vegan, and over the past few years I have collected some tips and tricks on how to manage the holidays with grace, ease and happiness while not giving up on your health and fitness goals. In this episode I lay out the foundation of how to approach the holidays, as well as answer listener emails about how to deal with people joking, judging and making fun of your evolved lifestyle choices.
